CHINO
LATINO
As in life sometimes restaurants go
through a series of changes, sometimes small, sometimes big.
And so it was for one of the older restaurants in town,
Chino Latino. Started several years ago by Jeun Nackorda
as a welcome addition to his other club China Groove, Chino
Latino featured the first restaurant in town with real
Italian and Mexican food, in a cozy jazz club atmosphere.
However, SARS came, and with it the reduction of clientele
that plagued many restaurants in this area of the country.

The main feature of the restaurant
is food, and there’s plenty of good food to go around.
Chino holds its own in that respect with good pizza, pasta
and other chicken, beef and seafood dishes. When Jason took
over management, he re-evaluated the menu, removed some
items that he thought didn’t make sense and reduced the
prices by as much as 50 percent on some items..
In addition to Italian food, Chino
features some of the best Mexican food in Dongguan such as
burritos, fajitas, quesadillas, and other items too
numerous to mention.
A nice place for either a company
dinner, or a hangout to enjoy drinks, companionship, and the 2
for 1 drink special happy hour that runs nightly from 6 p.m.
to 9 p.m. An additional happy hour runs from 1:30 a.m. until
closing, which is sometimes at 9 a.m., depending on when the
last customer leaves
Go check out the renewed Chino Latino,
spend some time and have a drink, soak up the atmosphere and
enjoy.
Chino is located in the Nan Cheng
district of
Dongguan, at 14 Ye Feng Road, on the second floor, just down
the street from the Silverland Hotel and 2 doors down from
the China Groove. Phone number is 0769 2281 7649
