The Indian Restaurant
Located
off-the-beaten-path is ‘The Indian Restaurant’. An unusual
settings for an Indian restaurant, the restaurant has large spaced out
tables and room aplenty and is probably the only restaurant
with a golden view of the sunset through it’s large windows
in Dongguan.

The priority here is food. They have strictly adhere to the traditional Indian
cooking to present the authentic Indian recipes of it’s
various states. The dishes are made individually so that
every serving has its own flavors. Hot is a word very seldom
uttered here. It is all flavored spiced food. In fact clients
with a like for the fiery dishes have to ask the chef for
additional portions of chilies and peppers.
India being a large country, it has its regional cuisine and
favorites. The
Indian Restaurant does a promotion of individual states' cuisines. For example, this month it is Kashmir, next month it is
Goa. They are best enjoyed for Sunday brunches when the restaurant offers a large assortment of house finger food.
On every promotion the Tsingdao Draft beer and soft drinks are at buy-one-get-one-free terms.
Tuesday Nights are Vegetarian promotion and every lady who brings a guest is entitled to a 30% discount. Friday Nights are ‘CURRY Nights.’ When you can choose a curry from their selection, you get
a serving of rice or naan, a vegetarian curry and pudding for only Rmb.50.00.

On Saturday is the ‘Tandoori/BBQ/Tikka Nights’. You can choose from a 25 varieties
of Tikkas (BBQ). Saturdays also feature live band. Beer is at buy-one-get-one terms.
It you want to talk to or court somebody, this is the place. The tables are
spaced out so you do not have to sit one on top of the other, the food is wholesome and the music is candle light
romance. And if your partner is willing, you can delve into slow dancing on the Indian Restaurant Dance Floor.
This all makes The Indian Restaurant a great place for
romance, quietude, conversation, courting and celebrations.
